About Jurtevia

Discover the story behind our passion for authentic Indian cuisine

Our Story

Jurtevia was born from a deep passion for the rich culinary traditions of India. Our founder, Chef Rajiv Sharma, grew up in a small village in Northern India where he learned the art of cooking from his grandmother. The recipes passed down through generations form the foundation of our menu today.

After years of culinary training in some of India's most prestigious restaurants, Chef Rajiv traveled across the country, immersing himself in the diverse regional cuisines from Kerala to Kashmir. This journey of discovery inspired him to create a restaurant that celebrates the incredible diversity of Indian cuisine while maintaining authenticity in every dish.

In 2025, Jurtevia will open its doors in Delhi, bringing together traditional cooking techniques with the finest locally-sourced ingredients to create an unforgettable dining experience.
